What do you think of Pinterest?

Ever heard of Pinterest?  I am thinking this might just interest me down the road.  See, I used to keep pages from Southern Living or other home decorating magazines of recipes or creative decorating ideas that interested me, but well that added up to a lot of paper in a box. Lets just say, my best laid plans to be super organized and have all my "interests" placed neatly in a three ring binder just didn't happen.

No, instead, all these neat "ideas" ended up stuffed in a shoe box that grew into a big box and that, just a couple days ago, ended up in the recycle bin.  So I was thinking, how much easier might it be to have my own Pinterest page.

Gotta say I like the idea.  A lot.  So...what do you think of Pinterest?

  1. I love it! But be careful, it's totally addicting (: I was the same way with tons of magazine cutouts, but it's so easy to organize all your crushes with Pinterest and see them all with one overview. I say try it out, and if you don't like it you can stop (but I bet you'll love it).

  3. I love it. I'm a bit of a Pinterest addict. I have several boards and find myself referring back to them often. I have a menu board that I used just this evening in making dinner for my family. Hooray for Pinterest!

  5. I love it! You can create "pages" with your own names so you can organize all your interests/pictures.

  8. I haven't taken time to understand it yet but have received a couple invitations to follow people on there. I used it for the embroidery hoop wall art for Addicyn's nursery but didn't have a clue as to what I was doing. Need to check it out again to fully understand what I'm doing.

  13. I'm a bit late in commenting, but I'm putting in my 2 cents anyway. I've been using Pinterest for about 3 weeks or so and love it! I used to just Bookmark things, but it's pretty hard to organize it. The really great thing about Pinterest is the beautiful visual. I love having everything in icon format. I'm going to be moving to a new home in less than three weeks, so I'm doing lots of decorating using Pinterest. I guess I would say I'm addicted, but I think it's a fast way to save things. I would highly recommend it.
