A little drawer gets a new life...

...on our dining table.

It is much, much happier now than it was before.

It was part of a little desk, and that was nice. But sometimes life does not turn out as we expect, and this could be said about the little desk. All that could be salvaged from this piece was the drawer.

 A tiny drawer really, but one full of potential.

I looked at it and wondered

if it might not be

a sweet center piece for our table.

It just needed some white spray paint, and a little chalk paint...

{Annie Sloan, Paris Grey}

...and a clear glass knob.

Adding four little "feet" to the bottom of the drawer gave it the extra height it needed.

{Being on the short side myself, I know how a couple of inches can lend confidence!} ;)

{The "bun feet" were made from wooden pieces typically used as heads for dolls.}

A little ribbon around the sides,

and it was ready for its new role!

 And the drawer was happy. ;)

I hope you all have a lovely day! Thank you for stopping by!

Blessings,
Jenni
