An explanation and a new blog...

So what does one say when it's been six months since last blogging?

{That is a ridiculous amount of time to let go by without a hello, that is for sure.}

It leaves me feeling a little tongue-tied and awkward, unsure of where to begin.

But I really want to, need to, to back! :)

I just needed to put things in perspective, to take a step back and re-evaluate. I just needed to stop and be still. Everything is moving so quickly, it's hard to keep it all together sometimes!

I am still going to blog, but I am continuing with my original idea from last year and transferring everything from here to my new wordpress blog. It was designed and ready last year, and I've still yet to post on it! But next time I post, I will spill all the the beans on this {I know I promised this back in January before my unexpected leave, but this time I mean it!} and link you to my new blog, with a new name: Swedish Prairie.

Yep, that's the name. I was going to wait to tell you until next post, but I just couldn't.

It was a blog I created over two years ago here on Blogger {which, coincidentally I also never actually wrote on!} but I think wordpress will be a better fit for it now.

But enough about me...tell me, how are you? Are you having a good summer so far? Ooh, I cannot wait to see what you all have been up to! :)

It is so good to be back!

Much love,
Jenni

Jenni!

How are you?

A big Summer hug to you and your family!

I know that you have had many projects going on including your darling chic chicken coop!

It was so sweet for you to visit!
The proposal story was about Jay's best friend. Ty is like a second son to us as he was in our home before and after school during the elementary years. His parents are two of our closest friends.

Jay will likely be in Boise for another four years. He was promoted to sports director at KTVB. We hope and pray that Seattle will be his next stop.

Chrislyn is busy with two babies now. She is a wonderful mother.

I am looking forward to Swedish Prairie! I have missed you and your inspiration both creatively and spiritually!

Welcome back!
