{Update}: Do not laugh

Lets just say my decorating idea for the interesting wreath, I brought home the other day, didn't exactly end up looking the way I envisioned.

Neither did the photos.

So should I just smash the darn thing?
I already removed 50% of the green zits aka sequins,
hoping that would improve the over all look of the wreath.
It helped a little.
I tried bows.
That was a no go.

{Update} I smashed the darn thing!

On the bright side however, I did find a cleaver way to use old jean pockets.
I also threw the jean pockets in the garbage.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some...

I actually like it. The color is perfect, and honestly just keep looking at it and you may end up liking it more too :) That is a cool wreath!

Oh Belle, it is so annoying when things don't turn out as we imagine.... but it does happen to us all! I think your wreath is lovely, and I do really like the pockets! X

It would be good without the denim pockets, those are pretty bad. Sorry. :(

I am sorry it didn't turn out as you imagined! I don't think it's all that bad!

I like it with the denim pockets! All it needs is a ragged denim bow with stremers at the top to blend it in.
Love your blog.

I don't really see anything that wrong with the wreath. I'm not feeling the love for the denim pockets, though. Have you considered using some burlap ties or even some rustic heavy twine? Good luck, but don't beat yourself up. It does happen to all of us.
